Will you get the right kind of Outplacement Support?

Has your company provided some outplacement support ?   Here are a few questions you might want to ask your Consultant:

• How are they qualified to deliver outplacement ? - experience is fine but it takes more to be a TRUE professional and remember it's your future that's at stake. 
• What will THEY do that will support you in direct contact and networking?
• Do they work directly for the outplacement company or are they Associates?
• What was their last full time role before they became an Outplacement Consultant?
• How many weeks on average does it take them to place someone like you?

If you still feel comfortable with the Consultant great - but if not why not challenge them to offer someone with a proven track record.

Camsterhouse offers face to face, telephone and e-support on a simple per hour fee basis.  In some cases organisations reimburse individuals and they may also allow you to opt out of the company funded outplacement taking the money instead.  So why not give us a try ?
